How do we securely package your machine?

How do we securely package your machine?

When you order industrial sewing equipment from AE Sewing Machines, we want you to feel confident that your machine will arrive in perfect condition - ready to use straight away. Many of our machines are large, heavy and highly specialised, so they require careful preparation before being shipped via courier.

Here’s how we make sure your order is packaged safely and securely before it leaves our workshop:

1. Careful Preparation

Before we even start packaging, each machine is thoroughly checked and prepared for transport. Loose accessories and attachments are removed, wrapped, and boxed separately to avoid movement during transit.

2. Strong Pallet Base

We use heavy-duty euro pallets (120cm x 80cm) as the foundation for your equipment. This ensures the machine is stable and can be moved easily with forklifts during transport. Depending on the model, we either bolt the machine directly to the pallet or securely strap it in place.

3. Protective Wrapping

Every machine is wrapped with layers of protective material to guard against dust, scratches, and moisture. We typically use a combination of:

  • Foam padding or bubble wrap for delicate surfaces

  • Cardboard shielding to prevent knocks

  • Stretch wrap film to seal everything tightly in place

4. Edge and Corner Protection

Corners are the most vulnerable areas during transport. We add reinforced corner protectors and padding to absorb impacts and keep your machine safe.

5. Secure Strapping

Once wrapped, the machine is strapped down firmly to the pallet using industrial-strength bands. This prevents shifting during transit, even if the pallet is moved multiple times.

6. Clear Labelling

Every pallet is clearly labelled with handling instructions such as “Fragile”, “Keep Upright”, and “Do Not Stack”. This helps couriers understand how to treat your delivery correctly.

7. Courier Collection

Finally, the pallet is staged and ready for collection by our trusted courier partners. Because of the way we package, your machine stays safe and stable throughout its journey.

Why This Matters

Investing in secure packaging isn’t just about protecting the machine - it’s about protecting your investment. An industrial sewing machine that arrives damaged can delay production and cause unnecessary frustration. Our goal is to make sure your order reaches you in the same condition it left us: safe, secure, and ready to run.
