Foot Pedal Not Responding

Foot Pedal Not Responding

Foot Pedal Issues

If the foot pedal does not respond as expected, the issue is usually connection or safety-related, rather than a fault with the pedal itself.

Before escalating:

  1. Ensure the "Pitnam Rod" is connected securely and has not moved. Usually this is tightened with a 10mm spanner and is a rod connected from the pedal to the actuator
  • Check that the foot pedal is securely connected

  • Confirm that no safety systems are active

  • Power cycle the machine safely

If the Issue Persists

If the foot pedal remains unresponsive after these checks, contact AE Sewing Machines with details of the machine and pedal configuration.
